GALA IN THE GARDEN
A vibrant celebration of community and creativity, bringing together local live music, bands, and lively dance performances in a colourful garden setting at St Saviours church. With plenty of children’s entertainment and games to keep younger guests smiling, it’s a fun-filled day for all ages to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and share in the music and magic together.
LIVE MUSIC
No village celebration would be complete without great music, and Brockival's Gala in the Garden promises an afternoon of fantastic live entertainment.
We're delighted to welcome the talented Lauren Perkins, who will be performing a wonderful acoustic set to get the festivities underway. Following this Phil Mills will take to the stage with his infectious blues acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals. We also have the brilliant Buskerteers Choir with their beautiful melodies followed by Cadance Duo acoustic and electric duo with their infectious rhythms, sweet harmonies and the songs you forgot you loved! This all builds up to to our headline performance from the brilliant Undercover. With their fantastic selection of crowd-pleasing favourites, Undercover are guaranteed to have the audience singing along and dancing the afternoon away.
So grab a drink, find a spot on the lawn, and enjoy an afternoon of live music in the heart of Brockenhurst.

LAUREN PERKINS
An emerging solo acoustic singer and guitarist based known for her versatile sound, she performs a wide range of cover songs spanning multiple eras and musical genres.
Lauren possesses a melodic, clear, and highly versatile acoustic voice. Because she is formally trained in vocal performance, her singing style is technically polished yet naturally engaging.
PHIL MILLS
Phil Mills is an accomplished roots and blues vocalist, guitarist, and harmonica player who has been a mainstay of the British blues scene for over 25 years. He is most widely recognised as the frontman for the rhythm and blues outfit Smokestack.
He has an authentic, gritty and classic British rhythm and blues sound that is deeply rooted in traditional acoustic and electric blues music. Listeners describe his music as both "smokin' and swingin'.
BUSKERTEERS CHOIR
The Buskerteers Choir New Forest is a friendly, inclusive local community pop choir that welcomes singers of all abilities with no auditions or experience required.
They have a vibrant, high-energy pop sound characterised by large-group vocal power, catchy grooves, and a massive "wall of sound." Because they focus on accessibility, their music relies on upbeat, modern vocal styling rather than traditional, formal choral textures.
CADANCE DUO
Cadance Duo or "The Carrie and Dan Experience" is an acoustic and electric live music duo, featuring performers Carrie Forster and Dan Barrow.
Cadance Duo features an upbeat, rhythmic, and vocal harmony-driven acoustic-electric live sound. As a two-piece act, they blend acoustic stripped-back arrangements with electric elements to produce an energetic, exciting full live music texture.
UNDERCOVER
Undercover are a local 5 piece band playing a wide range of genres - pop, rock, folk, jazz & Latin numbers.
The group focuses on creating an interactive, feel-good party atmosphere filled with powerful sing-alongs and infectious, danceable rhythms designed to close out the festival with a bang.
ENTERTAINMENT
We’re delighted to welcome the New Forest Meddlars to Brockival, where they’ll be bringing their wonderful traditional dancing to the celebrations! The Meddlars will be performing around 2.00pm and again at 3.30pm inbetween our live music acts.
With lively music, colourful costumes and plenty of energy, the Meddlars will help bring a real taste of traditional English folk culture to Gala in the Garden. We’re looking forward to seeing them perform and hopefully inspiring a few visitors to join in!
FAMILY FUN
We're also thrilled to welcome the talented Magic Jack, who will be entertaining visitors throughout the day with his amazing magic shows and tricks. Younger visitors can look forward to his fantastic balloon creations, interactive entertainment, and plenty of surprises guaranteed to bring smiles to faces of all ages.
There is also facepainting & glitter tattoos, hair wraps, games, stalls and much more to keep the little ones busy.
FOOD & DRINK
No celebration is complete without delicious food and drink, and Brockival's Gala in the Garden will have something for everyone to enjoy. Tuck into a great BBQ serving juicy burgers and hot dogs, alongside tasty vegetarian options.
There will be a fantastic selection of drinks available throughout the day, including a full bar, refreshing Pimm's, Prosecco, and soft drinks. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy ice creams from the wonderful Brock Ice and a delightful Afternoon Tea area, offering a tempting selection of homemade cakes, bakes, and treats - plus a wonderful Tuck Shop for all those classic sweets & treats!
Whether you're looking for a late lunch, a refreshing drink, or an afternoon indulgence, there will be plenty to savour while enjoying the festivities.
